Colorado gets visit from No. 1 prospect in Hawaii in QB Jaron Sagapolutele.
Ewa Beach (Hawaii) Campbell quarterback Jaron Sagapolutele took in an unofficial visit to Colorado on Tuesday.

The Buffs had offered Sagapolutele last month and he was able to get out to Boulder to check in on them this week.

Colorado left a strong impression on Sagapolutele.
"The unofficial visit was amazing," said Sagapolutele. "What stood out the most was the experience of the coaching staff and how genuine they were with me. They consider me one of their top recruits and I'm truly blessed."

Sagapolutele was able to spend plenty of time with the Buff coaches.
"I met coach Prime (Deion Sanders), coach Pat Shurmer, all of the offensive coaches and almost all of the defensive coaches," said Sagapolutele. "They are real down to earth people who really want to see their players succeed and coach George really spoke to me and gave me a different look on football and life in general."

He was also able to meet some of the other players.

"I met Shedeur Sanders and a couple of the receivers and offensive linemen," said Sagapolutele.

Coming from the beaches of Hawaii, Sagapolutele said he loved the city of Boulder and the state of Colorado.

"It's a beautiful place to be and the scenery and the views from the mountains where they took me, you can't beat it," said Sagapolutele.

Sagapolutele has some visits he's hoping to take.

"I'm definitely looking to visit Boise State and Oregon State next but just waiting to see what visits and plans God has in store for me in the future," said Sagapolutele.

Sagapolutele's official visit with Oregon State is lined up for June 7.

In the meantime, they're one of the schools expected to come watch him throw during the spring evaluation period.

"I know definitely Boise State Oregon State, Boise State, BYU, Baylor and a couple more coaches are coming through," said Sagapolutele.

A three-star in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Sagapolutele is the No. 1 recruit in the state of Hawaii by 247Sports, and the No. 24 quarterback in the country in 2025.
