These coolant system quick release fittings are becoming much more popular now on BMW VW Audi Skoda Ford and GM Chevrolet. I am talking about the clip style.

Twice I have replaced radiators in BMW cars and twice these quick release radiator fittings have been unbelievably DIFFICULT to get to release, certainly not quick.
I found a way that gets them off quickly. It is brutal and only works if you are replacing parts but is brilliant and gets the job done.
