Community Food Distribution Event in the City of Hollywood
The City of Hollywood, in partnership with Feeding South Florida and the Florida Department of Transportation, spearheaded a recent community food distribution at the Tri-Rail station on Sheridan Street. Almost 1,000 households were provided fresh fruit, milk and other necessary stables in an effort to help those in need. 24 pallets of food was delivered and for more than two hours, volunteers loaded the trunks of each awaiting vehicle. For those who were not able to attend this event, there are other food distribution resources available to you.
