Since the Columbian Exchange, corn has become a traditional ingredient in many cultures and countries, including Sri Lanka. ➡️ We grow several varieties including red corn, pearl corn, banana corn, gold corn, spinach corn, and others. I’ll bring you along my harvest as I pick corn ears so colorful they almost double as home decor! Once I’ve brought the harvest home, I’ll shuck, boil, grind, and combine the ears of corn with other traditional ingredients for both side dishes and desserts. ➡️ Today’s menu consists of corn bite, roasted dry chili lunumiris, and corn milk rice!
