Ginger harvest! 🫚 I made ginger candy, grape juice & aromatic chicken masala for dinner!

Everyone says podi malli(a cousin brother ) has blessed hands that are good at farming once they see his cultivation. He is going to harvest well grown Ginger very soon. The sunrays coming through the coconut trees and falling on the leaves of Ginger are constantly engaged in the process of storing food. The banana trees planted at some certain distance, are carrying bunch of bananas. They look very luxuriant. I have no doubt that podi malli will get a good profit this time. I washed a few ginger I brought and pounded them in the motar. Then I added sugar, watermelon and salt to the ginger mixture and kept it on the hearth and stirred it to make Ginger Dosi that everyone likes to have. (Inguru Dosi) (A name of a Sri Lankan sweet). Once it came to the level of its mixture, I took it out of the hearth and spread them on the tray and cut the lines to separate them to little pieces. I went to see grandmother carrying some sweets. There were Ginger Dosi (Inguru Dosi) I made along with some Boondi and Thala Guli (Name of Sweets) that my father had brought from the fair. Though I wanted to see grandmother, she wasn’t at her place. I waited there for an hour but she didn’t appear. So, I hung the bag I brought on the wall and left her place with a little disappointment.I made a Tamil style chicken curry after very long. I marinated chicken with curd, salt, chilies and lemon and fried them well. I made the Masala curry after adding spices, dried cashews and tomatoes then I added chicken to the gravy. It was such a delicious curry to have with Bread and Roti. Well, I made a juice along with lemon, ginger and grapes today. That was super delicious. It was well praised by Uncle Sumith. He gave me a well grown Pumpkin. That was a complimentary gift for the yummiest juice I made today.
