Inspired by a movie starring French freeclimber Catherine Destivelle, Coxsey first went to a climbing wall when she was four-years-old. She wasn’t tall enough to scale the walls at the time, but she was undeterred and was eventually allowed a few months later. From that moment, she knew that climbing was her thing.
