This time we're going back to the mid-2000s UK for some catchy, uplifting drum & bass - in parts bittersweet and soulful, but mostly boisterously joyous. A sound pioneered mainly by Hospital Records, with acts like London Elektricity and High Contrast.

Sometimes this style is referred to as liquid drum & bass (or liquid funk), although that moniker usually describes a slightly more stripped-down and atmospheric sound.
