I wasn't happy with this one until the end, but eventually I just had to stop recording because I can't just sleep through tomorrow 😅

I am kind of comparing myself to the awesome VolcaNiced, who also inspired the 16 step sequencer evolving over time. A great idea!

I realised when editing that I hadn't made use of the Spice'n'Dice as I had planned and practiced, but most other things I wanted to go into the jam actually went in. So it's all good anyway.

I'm really enjoying the MicroFreak. Its modulation capabilities with its matrix are very impressive. The synth engine itself is very flexible, because of the many many oscillator types, but remains accessible because ultimately, each oscillator type only has three parameters. That does also restrict the targets for all that modulation a bit, but it's awesome value for money anyway.

I am looking forward to jamming with the minilogue xd soon I hope, that give some more opportunities for fancy things. Also, incorporating the SQ-64 will give me more possibilities for manually playing - here, when I tried that out for the intro, it was really hard to get stuff in sync afterwards, because the MIDI clock source is also the recorder. So, no manually played intro here, even though it sounded neat. Decoupling those two will give me more flexibility with starting and stopping sequences without starting and stopping the recording.
