I've owned the Sp-404mk2 for one year now - and I use it almost every day. In a big kit and separately, mostly for techno. But now I'm trying the SP-404mk2 in a classic mode for creating lo-fi hip-hop beats. In this mix I use two pads per track, one for the beat and one for the acapella. The BUSses are also split between the two pads for effects. All beats are written inside SP404mk2. I use several samples prepared by myself and you can get them from the link below and YT workshop of creating the beat:
