About the Song: I wrote 'Airplane Coffee' after reading this wild article about how airplane coffee is basically the worst thing you could possibly order in the sky. The character in the song isn't me exactly, but she channels my genuine bewilderment watching fellow passengers choose bland coffee over anything with actual taste. I created those dreamy reggae rhythms to capture both the altitude feeling and that moment of disconnect we've all experienced while traveling. The chorus came to me during a particularly bumpy flight when I actually witnessed an entire row order coffee despite the flight attendant suggesting literally anything else! People can be so stubborn, even at 30,000 feet.
