Porque un año da para mucha fiesta, mucho baile, mucha música, muchas borracheras y, por supuesto, muchísimas resacas. Por ello y por mucho más, Manic Year nos presenta un álbum divido a partes iguales en 12, siguiendo los meses del año, en el que se mezcla house, trap, hyperpop, voces procesadas, memes y un amplio arsenal de referencias (mucha ciencia ficción, cartas Magic, Duolingo, MTV Cribs, el Gran Gatsby...). En resumen, un divertidísimo experimento que no se siente como tal, en el que se nos recuerda que con el desparpajo adecuado la vida puede ser muy divertida, incluso si estamos en la más absoluta mierda.

Because a year allows for a lot of partying, a lot of dancing, a lot of music, a lot of drunkenness, and, of course, a lot of hangovers. For this reason and much more, Manic Year presents us with an album divided equally into 12 parts, following the months of the year, which mixes house, trap, hyperpop, processed vocals, memes, and a wide arsenal of references (lots of science fiction, Magic cards, Duolingo, MTV Cribs, The Great Gatsby...). In short, a hilarious experiment that doesn't feel like it, reminding us that with the right amount of self-confidence, life can be a lot of fun, even when we're in the absolute shit.
