"1-bit web ambient" was one of the prompts in a community challenge, for the Venus Theory Discord. It's a genre, haven't you heard of it?Well, it's a made-up one, so chances are, nobody did. Nevertheless, this is very clearly a generative Bitwig 1-bit web ambient Grid patch!
I knew which genre among the offered ones I'd pick when I stumbled upon this: - and in there, some lovely circuitry sounds. They sit at the core of this piece, everything else is built around them. I added rhythmical white noise clicks, then beeps, also boops, and finally decided to go with a vocal-ish Phase Plant patch to top it all off with some vocal chops and a drone (just one patch though).
