About the Song: I wrote 'Rocksteady' about that feeling of being musically out of step with everyone around you at a party. Set in a dancehall where loving classic rocksteady marks you as hopelessly uncool, the song follows someone who refuses to compromise their taste despite the side-eyes and sneers. The turning point comes when another "lone wolf" appears who shares that same passion for the foundational Jamaican sound that bridged ska and reggae. This track is for anyone who's ever felt out of place for loving what they love, only to find their tribe in the most unexpected moments. Sometimes the best connections happen when you're brave enough to stand alone for your passions.
