The Bereans were commended and called “noble minded” are examining what the apostle Paul said with scripture. Acts 17:11 says they examined the scriptures daily, that’s the key. We too must examine every teacher with scripture to see if what they say is true. This isn’t bashing or slander. Calling out false teaching isn’t fun or gossip. Gossip would be lies. Because these teachers spew heresy publicly, they must be called out publicly. We must bring awareness to everyone about these teachings. There are too many deceived and unaware that their favorite teacher teaches these things. The associations alone are troubling. 26 of the 27 books in the NT call out false teaching. |
