There are many famous french Fomen, for their talents and beauty, but there are many historical female figures of France who have been traditionally overshadowed by the likes of Napoleon. In this video, we explore some badass, rebellious French women that haven't had enough time in your history classes. If you want to know more about French women's rights history, it really starts with some of these amazing French women (long before mai 68).

Such figures include:

Olympe de Gouges (declaration of women's rights)
Germaine de Staël-Holstein commonly known as Madame de Staël
George Sand
