Hollow Reflection is an Amsterdam-based dark synth project that breaks the blurry boundaries between darkwave, synthpunk and EBM. Initially a duo, Hollow Reflection used their music as a means of escaping the mundane brutality of everyday life by expressing systematic critique through socially engaged lyrics and desolate melodies. While working on their self-titled debut LP, it became increasingly apparent that the two artists pursued different aesthetic goals which resulted in an inevitable split. Nevertheless, Hollow Reflection went ahead as a one-man project, embracing a harsher sound adorned with cryptic vocals in Bulgarian - the artists' mother tongue.

The debut album of Hollow Reflection features 8 songs mired in dark bass riffs and alluring lead melodies, each track drawing inspiration from various synth-based genres - a guaranteed enjoyment for those who cherish dancing in the gloom.
