Synopsis:
Liu Kang, a small-time thug, is saved from a gang hit by Guan Yi, young VP of Zhonghong Group, and becomes his loyal right-hand man. Guan Yi, trusted by chairman Mr. Quan, is arrested during a smuggling bust but cleverly bailed out, raising suspicion. Liu Kang gains favor with Mr. Quan and his daughter Quan Zixi, though he keeps his feelings hidden.
During a risky smuggling deal, their operation is exposed, leading to a police raid. Guan Yi mysteriously disappears, Xiao Yang—Guan’s subordinate—is captured and later dies under suspicious circumstances, while Liu Kang saves Mr. Quan. Suspecting a mole, Mr. Quan sets a trap. As suspicion falls on both Liu Kang and Guan Yi, Mr. Quan watches closely, awaiting the truth.
