⚡ Most of the time the programming clamps will not communicate perfectly with the BIOS chip while it is on board due to circuitry interference, we need to extract the chip from the PCB in order to establish a good connection to be able to reach the data correctly.
🛠It is always advised to test the clamp connection before taking the risk to heat the board in order to extract the chip, in this video you will clearly see the board warping while the heat is applied to it, exposing the PCB to high temperature is a task that must be dealt with quickly, 1 extra second can push the board to warp or bubble in such a way that the damage will be irreversible.
