As a small bedroom producer from the north-west of Germany, I (Tim Brinkmann) started making electronic music under the alias TMBN around the year of 2020, effectively releasing tracks on Soundcloud and Youtube since 2022.
What started as a fun way of passing the time grew to something like an emotional valve for me, fascinated by the endless options to shape and create sound. Now my music is a reflection of my inner state—an attempt to paint my emotions in sound and let others feel what I feel in that moment.
Shaped by a wide range of genres—from Drum and Bass, Lofi Hip Hop, Boom Bap, and Techno to Synthwave, Deep/Minimal House, and of course Dub Techno—I strive to create something new. Moving in the opposite direction of ever faster and harder beats, I remain a devoted fan of laid-back grooves, deep basslines and dubby atmosphere.
