ABOUT LOVEBITES
LOVEBITES is a powerhouse all-female metal band from Tokyo, Japan, formed in 2016. Created by bassist Miho and drummer Haruna, the group soon added guitarists Midori and Miyako, along with vocalist Asami, crafting a lineup known for technical precision and fierce energy. The name “LOVEBITES” was inspired by Halestorm’s “Love Bites (So Do I),” a fitting tribute for a band that’s unapologetically bold, melodic, and metal to the core. They made waves right from their debut, earning global attention and performing at major festivals like Wacken and Bloodstock.
ABOUT JUDGEMENT DAY
Their 2023 album Judgement Day marked a major milestone. It introduced a new bassist, Fami, who was selected through an open audition—bringing fresh energy to the band’s already thunderous sound. This album climbed the charts in Japan, becoming their highest-charting release to date and a favorite among both longtime fans and new listeners. The title track, “Judgement Day,” is a relentless ride of soaring vocals, blistering guitar solos, and intense rhythm work. Lyrically, it taps into themes of strength, confrontation, and inner reckoning, all while showing off the band’s technical mastery. It’s not just a song—it’s a statement. And if this was your first taste of LOVEBITES, there’s a good chance you’ll be coming back for more.
