This is always an important week in the Netherlands as Wednesday was a national holiday in that country: the annual remembrance of their liberation in 1945. Of course Canada played a key role in ending occupation by Nazi Germany. Two Canadian soldiers are being honoured in the Netherlands, after the Dutch army and airforce recovered a Second World War bomber with their remains inside.
