💡 What first drew you to working with hardware like the MPC?
My best friend George (@ma.holo) was the one who got me into it. He’s an amazing producer and still a huge influence on how I use MPCs and shape my sound.
🔌 How has your live setup evolved, and how do you decide when to bring more gear into the mix — or keep it simple?
I’m always trying to develop the set. That might mean switching between different MPCs or trying out new pedals. It’s about experimenting without losing the flow.
🎛️ How do you source your samples and prep for a live set?
All the sounds are pulled from my own archive — VHS, vinyl, Sega Mega Drive, original Xbox, DX9 keyboard, cassettes… Doing a live set takes a lot of brain power and rehearsal, especially getting familiar with whichever MPC I decide to use. I always keep notes to guide me through the performance.
