Slide Guitar Essentials:

Ahhh slide guitar. Definitely, one of the bluesiest sounds you can pull out of a box of wood and steel, right?

It's a great sound but it takes quite a bit of focus and technique to sound smooth. In this lesson, we'll work on smoothing out your slide sound with a lick that will help you develop good technique while playing slide guitar.

It's a short and sweet little lick but it can be deceptively tricky with the hammer-ons and pull-offs (with the slide!) plus a long series of legato sliding. You really can't fake it with this lick!

That makes it an excellent lick to practice to help you develop your technique.
