Access the peninsula on the East of the map from a boat.

I took a boat to the east side of the map, climbed on the roof and jumped onto the bit of land that sticks out, on the south side of the Thames. I tried to do it again with a different character after this but the "you are leaving London" timer started ticking and I couldn't progress any further.
