Backstory.
I had a studio appointment scheduled and ended up getting there 20 mins late. As I walked in, my engineer Tony B was mixing this song. I asked "who is this?" He says "it's this jam band from Chicago, they call themselves 'Fellows". We carried on with our session, and afterwards asked if he could send me 'Sandcastles'. I must've replayed it 20 times a day. Everything lyrically resonated with me and out of necessity I recorded this verse on it. Thankfully 'Fellows' approved and even placed our collaboration as the first song on their debut album "Mornings"
