Chocolate was born in 1980 inside a former rice-drying warehouse in Sueca (Valencia), inspired by the tale of Hansel and Gretel. It quickly became a sonic refuge for thousands of clubbers opening at 7AM with bold sessions mixing after-hours energy, dark electronics, and gothic sounds.

Far more than just part of the Ruta del Bakalao, it was one of its beating hearts, always underground, experimental, and unapologetically different. Today, Chocolate lives on as a multidisciplinary cultural space, bridging its legacy with the future of club music.
