6 mins of improvised techno jamming from scratch on the new Roland SH-4d.

I started this from a blank template and init patches to show how quickly and playfully this thing can build up a beat. I’ve not had it long, and am by no means an expert in this synth or in sound design, but it does make it pretty easy to come up with stuff and in a really fast and fun way.

This video was inspired by a post I had seen by Kink on his Instagram channel (check it out for a much better demonstration!) which encouraged my to explore the improvisational/on the fly work flow in this-I must say I am impressed and enjoyed it.

There are a few quirks around the workflow, but overall this is a really fun box, that is also a very powerful synth. Well done Roland!!
