Why use the same sounds as everybody else when you can make your own?

If you’re looking for a good place to start in drum sound design, I designed a little challenge to improve your skill set. We’re going to build a drum kit, but only using the sounds from our mouth and stock plugins.

This simple process teaches you a lot about how to transform sounds to achieve what you want, and that’s a huge part of music production - and you don't need any special equipment! So come along as we build a drum kit together and we'll show some tips and tricks on how to approach this type of sound design!
