The Qwest TV original production at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2018 presents a star-studded cast of both bright young prospects and established luminaries who came together to pay tribute to the one and only Quincy Jones for his eighty-fifth birthday.

Curated by Qwest, the secret line-up included acts from Nate Smith, Ezra Collective, Jacob Collier and Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah to Robert Glasper, Talib Kweli, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) and Monty Alexander plus many more. As always, the musician’s levels were raised by the presence of other great musicians, ensuring an absorbing and exhilarating celebration from start to finish.

This film captures the special atmosphere of that night, emanating from the stage to the audience through freewheeling virtuosity, proud smiles and the kind of solidarity that comes from having participated in something truly exceptional.
