An ambient piece composed on my Eurorack case, which uses feedback delay as an important part of the composition. It is a one-take recording, with everything being sequenced on the spot.
Mixed in Ableton Live.
::My Setup::
- 2*104 HP Eurorack Case
- Beatstep Pro for Sequencing
- Scarlett Focusrite 18i8 for multi-track recording
- LaunchControl XL as my mixer for Ableton Live
::Modules Used::
- Clone of Mutable Instrument Braids
- Clone of Befaco Even VCO
- Moog Mother-32
- Shakmat Modular Clock
- A dual VCF based on MS-20
- Clone of Befaco Rampage
- A dual attenuverter
- A quad LFO
- A 6-channel VCA
::Patch Notes::
Rampage has been setup such that it triggers Moog after the envelope of Braids ends. Braids is being gated and sequenced through Beatstep Pro. Mother-32 is being gated through Rampage and CV sequenced through Beatstep Pro. Even VCO is used for bass.
A vital part of this composition is the delay feedback, which is coming through Ableton Live. I am using Soundtoys' PrimalTap delay with feedback set to more than 50%. All the effects are through Ableton Live in real-time. No additional effects have been added.
