Today I want to cover a drum plugin called VSDSX. It’s made by Aly James Lab, and stands for Virtual Simmons Drum System Extended VST. I bought this a few months ago while I was working on my History Of Electronic Drums documentary series. I used it to demonstrate how old electronic drum brains from the 1980s worked, what all those dials and knobs did, and how they affected the sound you were creating. But I feel like this excellent plugin deserves a dedicated video of it’s own, because it's really good and worth checking out if you’re into that type of sound. So what exactly is VSDSX, and who is it for?
