I’m excited to bring you another episode from our series Revelations, where featured artists go deep on their greatest albums and songs. Insight you won’t find anywhere else. Today we are going to take to a finalist for the greatest living guitarist. He came of age as the 80s were ending and the 90s were beginning, and became a household name with an acoustic song instead of an all out rocker . I’m talking about Nuno Bettancourt of the band Extreme and their biggest hit More Than Words.
Up next Nuno tells us how the song was born and that he now it was something special even though the record label didn’t support it because it didn’t sound like anything on the radio at the time of Big Power Ballads and Dance Pop whereas this song sounded more like the Everly Brothers or the Beatles. He also tells us bout playing guitar on his other big #1 hit of that year. You’ll be schocked when you hear what it is. Plus a hilarious story about touring with Aerosmith and what Steven Tyler ripped the band about. Here’s the story from Nuno.
Thank you for watching
Leave us a comment about Nuno and extremest and this all time classic. They release a new album a few years back and it was Mindblowing. What are you memories of this song and this band.
