US President Donald Trump has hit out at his own supporters over the management of an investigation into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. The US leader described Republican party members who are demanding more information about the investigation as ‘stupid’.
The MAGA movement, which propelled Trump into power, has for many years alleged a widespread government cover-up, with Vice-President JD Vance publicly claiming Epstein’s client list was kept secret by the government.
