Going a 2x6 exterior walls are a little stronger.
You can space out the exterior studs to 24” instead of 16”
Add more insulation
AAANNNDDD.... you get a better-looking window IMO!
A sneaky little trick some builders do with 2x6 walls... They add them behind the fridge so they can recess the fridge into he wall.
Also using them for pocket doors, more room for error for a longer lasting smooth slide 😎
Thoughts on going larger on exterior walls...? Worth it?
