This song was originally created as background music for the video 'Pages of Life: A Documentary about the Working Elderly' (). In that video, two men are interview. One sells snacks and one repairs watches. This is why the song is entitled Snacks & Watches.
The song is quite long and can also be used as background music for study, work and relaxation.
The composition mainly uses loops (drums, bass, percussion, guitar, some keyboards) with some parts (keyboards, bass, flute, strings) recorded using a Korg M50 synthesizer.
The video is processed footage of afternoon sunlight reflecting off a river and onto a wall beneath a bridge. The colors were then inverted with some additional effects added (After Effect CS4). The footage was taken using a Digital Harinezumi 2++ (something like a digital version of a lomographic camera)
