Syria's president Bashar al Assad vowed to crush rebel and Islamist forces who've seized the major northern city of Aleppo.Syrian and Russian jets have intensified their bombing campaigns on areas taken by the rebels and their last enclave, Idlib Province - which rescuers and activists say have killed and injured civilians.
