In this video, I offer teachings to help you understand Colonization as Spiritual Warfare and the need for balance in decolonizing work and our spiritual journey. I want to make it very clear that we need BOTH decolonizing AND the spiritual. As we are having a mass awakening, and mass actions, it is important that we TOO show up rooted in the spiritual or we risk falling to predatory energies and spiritual warfare. Here I discuss what this means and why spirituality is crucial to our movements. Let me be clear that I do not condone spiritually bypassing the colonial capitalist patriarchy. Love and light alone will not dismantle these oppressive paradigms, what we need is both the dismantling and the reclamation of the spiritual as our ancestors did. My hope is that you begin to reclaim the sacred so that together we can experience wellness, liberation, and birth a new world.
