In this third episode of our Derelict Barn Transformation, we finally begin to breathe new life into this abandoned 200-year-old structure. After weeks of demolition and structural prep, we now attempt to rebuild the barn, starting with a completely new roof installation and the intricate process of fitting all-new internal studwork to create the layout for future rooms. But as you can imagine, nothing is ever straightforward when you're dealing with a centuries-old, derelict building — and this stage brought its own set of serious challenges.

With warped beams, unlevel walls, and historical quirks at every turn, trying to get straight lines and plumb walls in a barn that’s stood weather-beaten for over 200 years is no easy task. Join us as we tackle the chaos with creativity, craftsmanship, and a fair bit of problem-solving. This phase marks a major turning point in the project — the start of turning a broken-down barn into a restored, modern space while respecting its unique past.
