Dr Shino Kany (Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Cambridge, MA, US) joins us to discuss the association of genetic risk and outcomes in patients receiving early rhythm control therapy for atrial fibrillation in the EAST-AFNET 4 trial.

EAST-AFNET 4 aimed to compare early rhythm control to usual care amongst patients with a recent diagnosis of atrial fibrillation, randomised in a 1:1 fashion.
