Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government is working with airlines to repatriate Canadians who are scrambling to return home amid travel restrictions meant to slow the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, the government of the Northwest Territories has reported its first case of COVID-19, shortly after prohibiting all non-essential travel through its territorial borders. David Akin reports. The U.S.-Canada border is officially closed to non-essential travel. As Jeff Semple explains, not everyone is clear about the definition of 'non-essential.' And with the border now closed, many are concerned the new rules won't be applied evenly. Jackson Proskow reports. Over 80 million people in the U.S. are under orders to stay home, as the number of COVID-19 cases in the country surpasses 24,000. Those numbers are expected to rise, but hospitals in some of the hardest hit states are already short on essential medical supplies. Jennifer Johnson reports.
