We teamed up with Khaliah Ali, healthcare advocate, activist, designer, author, and daughter of former professional boxer Muhammad Ali, and the @American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) to elevate the conversation and help educate about the impact of obesity, particularly for Black women and the Black community overall. Empowered by their mantra Fight to Flourish, Khaliah sat down with four women to discuss their personal struggles and successes throughout their weight journeys, as well as their perspective on topics from access to healthy food, to generational habits, to the importance of supporting one another & continuing the conversation. Hear from these women as they engage in an impassioned conversation about the serious health effects of obesity among Black American women to educate, drive awareness, and inspire action.
