The all-new Honda Accord is the 10th generation, arriving 40 years after the original. This new Honda Accord 5-passenger sedan was bench-marked against the Audi A4 in terms of interior refinement and road handling and it shows. The all-new 10th generation 2018 Honda Accord is now powered by a 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder, similar to the Honda CR-V but with variable valve timing added. It is matched to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or 6-speed manual. This new setup is much more refined and quieter then the first version of the CVT in the Accord. The optional engine is the 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder with an in-house 10-speed automatic or 6-speed manul. The 2018 Honda Accord has a design that might take time to get used to, it has an almost domestic look to it, even a bit Chevy Malibu from the rear. The interior of the new Accord is upscale and features a 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument cluster and an 8-inch center screen that features Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The seats sit lower than the past model for a better seating position. The ride is much more refined and the CVT is hard to direct unless pushed hard. All Honda Accord sedan;s come standard with Honda's advanced safety system called Honda Safety Sensing.
