World leaders are gathering in Azerbaijan for the United Nations' annual climate summit, which is being overshadowed by the expectation U.S. president-elect Donald Trump will withdraw from the Paris Accord.

Delegates at the meeting are expected to agree on a new financial target for how much wealthier countries should pay to poorer ones to adapt to climate change.
