On this episode of Global National: The man tasked with leading Canada's COVID-19 vaccine rollout has stepped down. Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin was suddenly removed from his role on Friday, pending the results of a military police investigation into sexual misconduct. As Abigail Bimman reports, Fortin is the latest high profile military member to be accused.

The push to get COVID-19 vaccines in arms ramped up across the Greater Toronto Area on Saturday with clinics taking place at the Toronto Zoo, The Aga Khan Museum, and even overnight in Mississauga, Ont. As Katherine Ward reports, some medical experts say the percentage of people vaccinated is not the only metric to be considered when it comes to reopening the economy.

In the U.S., new COVID-19 guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that allows fully vaccinated Americans to go maskless while indoors has sparked a sea of confusion. As Jennifer Johnson reports, not everyone's ready to trust the honour system.
