C/U of an illustrated title page from a book, 'More Tales From Hans Andersen', panning right to show C/U of an artist painting a picture of a fairy tale castle entitled 'The Golden Goose'. M/S of artist Pamela Curtis-Green working at a table in her studio.
C/U of the painting as she puts it to one side and brings into shot a partly finished clay model of the castle. She adds more turrets and some small figures that dance across the front of the scene; we see her making clay grass by pushing wet clay through a small sieve and placing that at the base of one of the towers.
Pamela then takes the model to a kiln and puts that inside. She walks back to the table with a small model that has been fired. A third fired (and cooled) model entitled 'The Tea Party' is now before her on the table; C/Us as Pamela starts to paint it with special ceramic colours that will change in tone with the final firing that fuses the colours.
C/U of a finished miniature model called 'Gipsy Caravan'; panning right to show the 'Sugar Cake Cottage' from the Hansel and Gretel story; C/U of the two figures and cottage of this model. C/Us of a model called 'The Ballet' (five figures in balletic poses), seen on a revolving turntable; the finished model of 'The Tea Party' is seen revolving. C/U of the base of a tower in a model of Grimm's 'Rapunzel'; tilt up to show the top of the tower where a ceramic Rapunzel is letting down her golden hair.
Note: There are hand-written notes on file - probably from Pamela Curtis-Green - that the commentary was obviously taken from. Heal's Ltd is noted on the shot list although not mentioned in the commentary. See out takes on *PM0127* CP 317 CUTS.
