Jennifer Johnson reports on how doctors are warning even a temporary shortage could have long-term consequences. Governments across Canada are trying new tactics to stifle the ever-growing housing costs in the country. Ross Lord reports that while there are signs the market is cooling, the pressure on governments to act is leading to some regrettable decisions. Canadian government officials are also working to lower record-high inflation across the country. One of the common symptoms of COVID-19 earlier in the pandemic was a loss of normal smell and taste. But for one woman in Alberta, smell distortion showed up months after she had the virus. As Su-Ling Goh reports, her experience with parosmia is becoming more common. It's often said that scotch is liquid gold, but the bottle in this final story is worth a lot more than its weight in gold. Gil Tucker has more on a rare whisky that could set you back six figures.
