The 2019 Acura ILX get a major refresh. Most noticeable is the reworked front design from the windshield forward. This compact premium car has a new hood, bumpers, grille and headlamps that feature the Diamond Pentagon grille featured in other Acura models. The 7-element Acura jewel Eye LED headlamps are now matched by new LED tail lamps. The ILX comes with standard 17-inch wheels or optional 18-inch wheels with the A-Spec line. A-Spec is Acura's more assertive, sporty appearance package and this adds grey wheels, a different front spoiler, a rear deck spoiler in black, plus unique headlamp and tail lamp treatments.
Inside, the ILX gets new sport seats in the A-Spec models that come with Ultra-suede inserts and piano black touches on the dash, A-Spec on the steering wheel, plus aluminum pedals.
Powering the newly updated Acura ILX is a proven 2.4L 4-cylinder with 201hp and the power goes to the front wheels through an 8-speed dual clutch transmission.
The biggest advantage to buying this ILX is the starting price of $29,990 and the most expensive ILX is $35,390 for the top A-Spec model. This makes the ILX the least expensive premium car sold in Canada and it competes with other import cars costing more money.
