Veterans Day: Biden fondly recalls late son Beau asking him to "pin his bars" on his uniform

U.S. President Joe Biden honoured Americans who fought for their country during his last Veterans’ Day ceremony while in office.
Speaking to gathered military members and their family at Arlington National Cemetery, Biden recalled his son Beau being deployed to Iraq with the Delaware National Guard.
“I still remember the day he asked me to pin his bars on him,” he said.
“How proud Jill and I, and our entire family felt, like so many of you, we also remember how hard it was when he was deployed: empty seats at the dinner table, missed holidays and birthdays, prayers of hope and worry repeated every morning and night.”
Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris also took part in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
