This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2022 Audi Q7 mid-size 3-row luxury SUV. What’s new for 2023? The Q7 gets more standard features including, Matrix LED headlights, high beam assist, auto dimming and power folding mirrors, interior lighting package and available remote park assist plus which automatically maneuvers the vehicle in and out of a perpendicular or parallel parking space. This feature can be performed via your phone even when you are outside of the vehicle. The Audi Q7 45 starts at $70,500 CAD/$57,500 USD which is less than the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE plus they don’t come with a standard third row like the Audi, that’s a feature you’ll have to pay extra for. Other competitors in the premium category include the Acura MDX and the Infiniti QX60, both priced less than the Q7. There are two engine options, we are driving the Q7 55 Progressiv model with a 3L turbocharged V6 and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission with 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The second option is the Q7 45 with a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder, 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
