The Cassette Archives is my personal collection of DJ mixes, radio mixes and studio mixes spanning the UK rave and hardcore scene during the early 1990's. Most of these tapes are one offs and will not be available anywhere else online.

Volume 5 - DJ D-Lite 1991

The fifth volume of these archives features a November 1991 studio mix by DJ D-Lite, a South London DJ whom regularly played on Energy 87.9 FM back in the day, spinning vinyl from across the acid house, hardcore, jungle and drum & bass spectrum.

This mix features some classic early rave and hardcore tune-age from the likes of DJ Seduction, Acen, Timebase, Visions of Rage & The Hypnotist to name but a few.

Most importantly, DJ D-Lite is my older brother whom got me into the scene and into this amazing music in the first place - so I can forgive the odd spot of dodgy mixing. Still love you Bro! :-)
